Navratri is here. Bhavnagar’s garba plans this year include online booking, app-based entry and well-known grounds across the city. From big ticketed events to small sheri garbas, here’s where to play this Navratri 2026.

Navratri 2026 Dates

The nine Navratri nights run from Sunday, 11 October to Monday, 19 October. Dussehra is on Tuesday, 20 October. Some events start a night early or run one night longer, so check your event’s dates before buying a pass.

Top Garba Events This Year

Navyug Navratri: Shakti 2.0

Navyug draws a younger crowd with a modern garba setup, at the same venue as last year. This year’s theme is “Ancient Energy. Infinite Future.”, and the organisers describe it as eleven nights of garba. The season pass is filling fast. Physical passes are collected from Small Wonders, near Chitaranjan Chowk, Vidhyanagar, and the inquiry number can help with collection timings.

Rangoli Dandiya 2K26

Known for its lighting and young crowd, and for making couple garba popular in Bhavnagar. You can buy one day, a few days or the full season in the app, and picking all nine days together gives a discount of up to ₹855. One mobile number can book for up to two people, and same-day tickets are sold at the resort counter while available.

Entry requires the original ticket in the app and a successful QR scan. Screenshots and printouts are not accepted, and there is no re-entry. Visitors who are not registered khelaiyas must come with at least one lady, and one lady can bring in up to three gents. Group khelaiyas need traditional dress, and kurta with jeans is not allowed. Rajpath Navratri 2026

One of the bigger names in Bhavnagar’s ticketed garba scene. This year Rajpath has teamed up with Bhavnagar Ni Rataldi. Pick your date and pass category on BookMyShow to see the final price.

Zanzar Navratri 2026

Back again this year and tied to Saptrangi Garba Class, at the same venue as last year. Zanzar runs one night past Navratri, to 20 October. Tickets are non-refundable, so pick your date carefully, and arrive about 30 minutes early for smoother entry.

Vrajrass Navratri Mahotsav 2026

  • Venue: Nirali Farm, Ghogha Road, Bhavnagar
  • Dates: 11 to 19 October

Vrajrass is new on Bhavnagar’s garba calendar, and its first season brings something the city hasn’t had before: garba under a German dome. The covered dome is set up at Nirali Farm on Ghogha Road for all nine Navratri nights, with Mandip Parmar leading on dhol. If you want to try a fresh setup this year, this is the one to watch.

Bhavnagar Navratri Mahotsav: Khodiyar Charitable Trust

  • Garba at: Khodiyar Mata Mandir, Rajpara, Bhavnagar-Rajkot highway (Sihor taluka)
  • Dates: 11 to 19 October

The trust holds daily puja and aarti all nine nights, with garba in the temple premises, folk singers and food stalls. The trust’s office is at Radhika Complex, Virani Circle, while the garba itself is held at the temple in Rajpara. It’s a more devotional night than the city grounds, and a good pick if you want garba with aarti and folk music.

Other Party Plots Worth Knowing

Shreeji Party Plot (Ring Road) hosts garba during Navratri, but there’s no single organiser. A different group takes the ground each night, so the music, timing and entry change from day to day. Check Instagram or ask at the plot which group is playing on the night you plan to go.

The Palm Tree Party Plot near Top3 Multiplex is a familiar name for garba nights in the city, with an open ground that suits big groups.

The Iscon Club & Resort holds Navratri mainly for members, with manicured lawns and a smaller, calmer crowd. Guests can ask the club about entry through @isconthefern.

Tickets and Pricing

A starting ticket price is not the same as a season pass. Rajpath lists ₹300 onwards and Zanzar ₹400 onwards, both per night. Navyug’s season pass is ₹3,500, and Rangoli’s full season is ₹3,399 on its website, with day-wise prices in the app. Booking and handling fees may be added at checkout.

Sheri Garba & Traditional Garba

Along with the big grounds, sheri garba happens across many areas of the city, along with traditional mandli garba groups. Both are usually played on dhol. For a neighbourhood night, ask the society or mandal about aarti time, garba timing and visitor entry.
