Location

The outlet is at 150 Ring Road, Near Bharat Petrol Pump, Bhavnagar, Gujarat. Ring Road already carries steady traffic throughout the day, and the McDonald’s near Bharat Petrol Pump is easy to spot.

Opening date

McDonald’s opened in Bhavnagar on 15 October 2026. The full menu was available from the first day.

Ring Road has also been building up as a restaurant stretch over the past couple of years, coming in right after Himalaya Mall Road and Waghawadi Road as one of the busier eating-out areas in the city. With McDonald’s here, more restaurants and food outlets could start coming up along the same road.

Crowd and stock on opening days

People in Bhavnagar have been waiting for a McDonald’s for years, and the opening days showed it. Queues were long, and because of the demand, some of the major items went out of stock. If you plan to visit, expect a wait, and you may not get every item you want during peak hours.

The timing adds to the rush. The outlet opened in the middle of Navratri, and Diwali is coming up soon after, so more people are out eating and shopping than usual. The crowd is likely to stay heavy through the first week, and possibly longer during the festival season, especially in the evenings and on weekends.

Drive-Thru

The outlet has a Drive-Thru, and the sign is up on Ring Road. Because of the crowd on the opening days, the Drive-Thru has been shut for now. We will update this section once it starts running.

Online ordering and home delivery

As of now, the Bhavnagar outlet is not on any online food ordering app, such as Zomato or Swiggy, and ordering through the official McDonald’s app is not available for this outlet either. With the heavy crowd and the festival season, it may take some time before online ordering and delivery start. For now, you will need to visit the outlet to order. We will update this section once online ordering is available.

McCafé

McCafé is part of the outlet, so coffee and other McCafé items are available alongside the regular menu.

What’s on the menu

The full McDonald’s menu was available on day one: burgers, fries, cold drinks, desserts and McCafé items. Availability of some items can change during busy hours, as the stock-outs on the opening days showed.

The food scene it’s joining

Bhavnagar already has a strong food culture built around dabeli, gathiya and fafda-jalebi, with names like Lachhubhai Gathiyawala and Dimple Fast Food, plus burger chains such as Burger Singh. McDonald’s is joining a city with plenty of quick-food options, but the opening day crowd shows how much people wanted to try it.
