Samaldas Arts College is one of the oldest, most prestigious educational institutions in Western India. Established in 1885 by the Late Maharaja Sir Takhtasinhji of Bhavnagar in honor of Diwan Samaldas Mehta, it stands today as a premier institute for higher education in the Arts and Humanities.

Currently affiliated with Maharaja Krishnakumarsinhji Bhavnagar University (MKBU), the college is dedicated to providing academic excellence while preserving its incredibly rich heritage.
