Bhavnagar’s startup founders may soon get their own Demo Day. eChai Ventures, which runs founder meetups across Gujarat every month, has proposed a Startup Demo Day for Bhavnagar on 26 September 2026. The event was originally planned for 29 August 2026 but was moved due to Raksha Bandhan and the holidays around it.

This is part of a bigger push too. eChai is rolling out Demo Day to 100 cities across India, all happening on 26 September. 11 cities have already crossed the threshold and are confirmed, with close to 300 founders registered nationally. Bhavnagar is one of the cities still waiting to reach the number.

At a Demo Day, early-stage founders take turns presenting what they’re building, usually with their website or product on screen, followed by questions from the audience. Every founder who registers gets listed on the event page with a short line about their work and a link, even if they don’t get a slot to present.

Unlike a confirmed event, this Demo Day does not have a venue yet. eChai locks in the venue and timing only after 20 founders from Bhavnagar show interest. As of now, 7 founders have registered, so Bhavnagar needs 13 more before it’s confirmed. Founders in include Rudraksh Bhatti (ZEROONE TECH LABS), Sagar Goswami (Themidnight), Sanjay Sm Shah (behaviour and peak performance coaching), Sarika Sundhani, Shivang Upadhyay (MUVING MEDIA), Abhay Solanki, and Zain (SHOPZA GROUP OF COMPANIES).

There is no ticket for this event. Entry is free once the event is confirmed.

• If Bhavnagar doesn’t reach 20 interested founders, the event is called off and everyone who showed interest is notified.
• The venue and final timing will be announced once 20 founders from Bhavnagar have registered interest.
